NorthWest Arkansas Community College will host its Benton County College Fair on Monday, Sept. 14, from 6 to 8 pm at the Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies on the Bentonville Campus.
The college fair will provide a chance for students and parents to talk to university representatives from across Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Last year more than 60 colleges and technical schools were available to answer student's questions. This event is free and open to the public.
Students planning to attend the event are encouraged to register for the automated fairs online at gotocollegefairs.com. This registration produces a "Student Admittance Pass" which includes a barcode linked to the student’s contact information. Students would then present their pass to a participating college representative. The college representative will scan the barcode, collecting the student's information. Almost all of the colleges in Arkansas will be participating in the gotocollegefairs.com automation system.
